Crafted from grade A hickory wood for an ultra dense feel that packs a punch. Lathed to our exact specifications and hand sanded to a smooth, virtually scratch free surface. Includes 6 coats of finish utilizing 3 different products which provide a long lasting hard finish. Each mallet is hand made and includes a nice mixture of both heartwood (dark) and sapwood (light), which is a highly sought out characteristic of hickory. This is the perfect tool for breaking in your glove!
